San Francisco Giants Sponsor Activations
During my five years with the Giants, I had the pleasure of partnering with countless brands to create hundreds of graphics and animations for dozens of themed nights. I was the first creative hired by the Giants exclusively dedicated to producing animated content for these events. This gave me full control over our extensive scoreboard technology, allowing me to bring themed nights to life in ways that hadn’t been possible before.

Beyond all of the typical ‘baseball’ graphics I made, my fondest memories at the Giants was working with partnered brands to bring their visions to life within the ballpark. This included themed headshots for every player, animations for the scoreboard, social media graphics, and more. A sampling of my graphics can be seen here.

Graphics x Programming
In 2016, the Giants began using a DYVI switcher from EVS, which opened the door to even more creative opportunities for themed nights. I dove into DYVI’s unique coding environment and used it to elevate our shows to a new level. In this video, you’ll see the graphics package I created that year for Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel Nights.

Storytelling meets Baseball
We could have used the standard lineup graphics for themed nights, but where’s the fun in that? After successfully syncing ballpark animations during the Star Wars fireworks show, I knew there was room to do even more. Working with brands like Pixar and Star Wars, we brought our players into the vibrant worlds those studios had created. Additional production artist: Bobby Scharff
